I was proud of our crew last night.
4 Outlaw heats, the dash and b feature, 3 stock heats, stock car feature and 25 laps of the Outlaw feature in one hour and forty minutes before the storm hit. Larry Kemp |

Was it a rain shortened WoO feature?
If so, why was the decision to run the support class feature first? |

I believe they said over the PA they would scratch the B in the stocks and just run the A in the stocks to save time. They run the Stock A during the time they give the Outlaw B transfer time to get ready to the A.

I was there Saturday night. Gotta say, I was impressed. No rain in the forecast, although the clouds about 6pm looked like it could rain at any minute. The track was in great shape, program moved along really quickly. (I wish all open wheel programs went that well.) Multiple slide jobs during the feature. Nice comeback for the Eldora crew. I'll be there Wednesday night for the USAC show.
P.S. - Congrats to Paul McMahon! |

Eldora is no different than any other track. If it looks like rain is coming they all get the show in as fast as possible.
Shame they can not do the same thing on a nice night. |

Have fun. My decision was made at 10:45pm Usac Opener not to return in 2010

I have to agree. The track has been silly dusty for too long. The USAC fiasco was my last straw. If ya'll can put together a nice track for the Wednesday show and the 4-Crown, I might consider coming back next year. Until then, I will spend my cash at tracks that consistently have good track prep.
Speaking of which, Tri-State was immaculate this weekend...... |
