Well its that time again for the 12th Annual Funfest this weekend.
The campers and trailers have been pouring in all week. There are already alot of Late Models and Sprints in the pits. I cannot believe how many people are already here. Now this weekend is not for the faint of heart, We have 13 classes of cars racing, and we estimate over 800 entries. also there will be a derby and roll over contest, and the list goes on and on. The best part is, for $45 for 4 days you get free food after the races, Sue Collins world famous BBQ on Thursday, Larosa's Pizza on Friday and on Sat. a hog roast. Also beer after the races is only $1 for 5 beers!! You also get access to everywhere, every pass is a pit pass. Also live entertainment, DJ on thursday, Mount Pleasant Band friday, and Visual Kaos on Sat. We have a ton of venders offering everything from a mechanical bull to food and die casts. There is going to be a ton to do, and plenty of racing.

Hey Dave!! make sure the track isn't too heavy or too dusty!!!! LOL
The kid has a bachelor party saturday night so we're parking the car for the winter. I normally use funfest to get in the car have a little fun but, we've spent so much on repairs and the new motor, I'd hate to tip the thing over and have the throttle matted and destroy the motor. FOR A CHANGE, THE CAR IS STRAIGHT AND HAS A FRESH MOTOR GOING INTO THE NEXT SEASON!!!! We'll be down at the "Fest" spectating and partying. Thanks for the great year!!!!

Hey Dave I hope you got a chance to read some of the postive stuff before D.O. yanked the post yesterday. (And rightlfuly so) It was't all bad. Any track owner or promoter who will come on this board and confront the 30 deciples of racing ( 30 people or so who post per D.O.) has my total RESPECT. I love dirt clods on my forehead or a lot of dirt in my beer. It's all good .,..keep digging.

Dave, our car won't be ready for tomorrow...if we were to come Saturday, could a guy still run the SNS if he were to do good enough in the heat race?
