I would have to say for me it would be the quality of the racing at Gas City. That was the best race I have ever seen at Gas City. I had forgotten how bad the bleachers were at Gas City though! (Can they do something to make those better?
Anybody have something else they were suprised or particularly enjoyed: track, driver, car, experience, food? Anything that could have made the first 3 nights better? |

Fitzpatrick's Kokomo performance. NTR, followed by going from 8th to win his heat rather convincingly, and passing BC on the high side to get to 2nd in last night's main before bouncing off the wall with 5 to go and falling back to 6th.

At least Buckwalter is strong-willed enough not to have his spirit and self-confidence crushed by The Prickly Cactus Man when he doesn't a)-Time trial fast enough; b)-Win his heat; c)-Pass somebody in a timely and efficient manner; d)-Dominate the feature; e)-Bestow all credit for all accomplishments on the impeccable car preparation.

I agree..... I have seen Blake improve all last year and even more so this year, but being top 5 points for sprint week does surprise me a little.
He will definitely be a force in the finale at TSS as he had a feature win slip away there a few weeks back. Best of luck to Blake the rest of the week! |

Actually, two things. The great showing of Blake Fitzpatrick and the bad luck of Tracy Hines. Look out when Hines rebounds and here's hoping Fitz keeps his momentum.
