MRL Names Velocita Official Driver Apparel

MRL SIGNS VELOCITA AS OFFICIAL DRIVING APPAREL, MRL DRIVERS REWARDED

UPLAND, Ind. (March 25, 2014) – It is a perfect fit…in more ways than one.
The new Midwest Racing League is partnering with Velocita for the North Carolina company to become the official Premium Driving Apparel of the MRL.
“This is a great match, a perfect fit indeed,” MRL president Chad Orr said. “As our mission statement professes, the fans, teams and tracks win the most with this partnership.”
Velocita’s Brad Smith sweetened the deal by announcing the top five in MRL Mod Lites points in 2014 will be eligible for a full custom racing suit for half price.
“We are very excited to partner with the MRL for 2014,” Smith said. “As a driver, I'm always excited to see new things and ideas put into place.”
Velocita company pride comes from a full line of suits, gloves, shoes and underwear to the hard core racer. That includes SFI and FIA certified apparel to their premium karting line.
“As a safety manufacturer it really gets our attention when a series really makes sure its drivers, teams and fans are safe,” Smith said. “The MRL promises to be a great series with lots of great action. I can't wait to see the first race.”
Velocita also will be sponsor of the second heat race at each of the MRL Mod Lite events in 2014.
