THE GROVE & BRIDGEPORT OPEN 2021 USAC EAST COAST SPRINT SLATE

Speedway, Indiana (March 31, 2021)………USAC’s Rapid Tire East Coast Sprint Cars presented by Capitol Custom Trailers begins its fourth season of competition with a bang, with a doubleheader weekend this Friday, April 2, at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway and Saturday, April 3, at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Speedway.

The Spring Sprint Special at Williams Grove presents a rare three-division open wheel sprint car racing program with the USAC East Coast Sprints, Lawrence Chevrolet 410 winged sprint cars and the PASS IMCA 305 sprints.

Racing begins at 7:30 pm ET at “The Grove.”* Adult general admission tickets are $20 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for just $10. *Kids ages 12 and under are free.

The event will also be Hoseheads.com Kids Easter Night at the track with the first 150 kids age 12 and under who enter the races at the front stretch grandstand getting a free Easter treat.* Those lucky first 150 kids will get a free chocolate Easter Bunny courtesy of Hoseheads.com.

Three-time and defending series champ Steven Drevicki (Reading, Pa.) won the series’ debut at Williams Grove in August 2020.

The following night, Saturday, April 3, the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars make their fourth ever visit to Bridgeport Speedway.* Coleman Gulick, Joey Biasi and Briggs Danner have been victorious at Bridgeport in 2018, 2019 and 2020, respectively.*

Along with the USAC East Coast Sprints, the 602 Sportsman, Street Stocks and Vintage cars will also be on the card.* *

Pits open at 4pm ET with grandstands opening at 5pm and hot laps at 6pm.* Adult general admission tickets are $20 with kids age 10-15 $10 and children age 9 and under free.* Pit passes are $30 for members and $40 for non-members.
