It is my understanding that they did everything they could to get the Star Classic in, including cancelling the heats and starting the feature line up from the time trials.

From what I heard they were 35 laps into the 150 lap race when sever weather hit and with sever thunderstorms in the area and tornado warnings also in the area of Epping, N. H. they will resume the race at 1 PM Sunday.

The top seven when the race was stopped were 28 Eric Lewis, 78 Mark Sammut, 74 Johnny Benson, 14 John Gambuti, 29 Russ Wood (back in a supermodified for this race) 75 Lou Cicconi, and 32 Timmy Jedrzejek. That is all I know.
