Here's the latest forecast from NOAA, and it's looking decent at this point.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 75. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

IF Ma Nature throws us a curve later in the week and if this forecast changes in the days to come, we have 3 back-up plans ready to plug in...so we will get in the entire show this weekend...as long as it doesn't change drastically from this forecast for Saturday.

So, all is planned, as is, until further notice. Cowtown has a long history of 'getting races in' and we don't plan to change that now.

At the moment, we have 68 sprint teams entered from across the country, plus great fields of drivers assembled in the Topless 100, Topless Limiteds and Winged 600's (which even includes an entry from Indiana).

I was wondering where DJ and Colby Estes were.
For those that were asking about Paul White, it looks like he'll be there in the topless modifieds. And even though I didn't see their names on the list, I'd say there is a good chance that all 4 Whites, Paul and Keith and the other White brothers George and Russell will be running this weekend. And speaking of brothers, I didn't see any of the 4 Day brothers from the Greenville area listed, but they all usually run well in the topless limited modifieds.

It won't be a cake walk for Paul as there are lots of other really good drivers entered, but picking Paul White to win any race he is entered in can't be a bad choice. He is among the best in the business and one thing I especially like about him is that he always races clean.
