In a holding pattern right now for the dreaded "R" word.

lets hope they draw like that at kokomo 3 weeks from now/ or is 1/4 mile too much for their poor little motors?

Why wait three weeks when Montpelier opens in two.

The first half of the race was real good with Bell running the top and Bacon on the bottom. They ran side by side for many laps, till Bell pulled down low in front of Bacon. A few laps later Bacon and a lapped car tangled, and that was the end of his night. Bell ran unchallenged the rest of the way.
Tyler Thomas got into 2nd late over Justin Peck, who was doing huge wheelies off turn 4 much of the night. A few laps earlier Thomas, and then 3rd running Austin Brown came together with Brown losing out on the contact. Brown had worked his way to 3rd from 14th at that time. We all waited out a very long rain delay to resume racing. It restarted at around 11,and I walked out at 1:23 am after the midget feauture. I'm glad they tried to run last night though was cold and windy. I think most people stayed, although I noted there were some missing. Its a long way to drive for a rainout otherwise. For some reason Sprint doesnt make it to the NE side of Tulsa very well. I had sporadic coverage all night. |
