I know that different tracks do this different ways. My feelings are this; The winner should get awarded at the start finish line. The fans pay to watch the race, and they should get the full show. They should be able to see the winner get his goods in full view.

Yeah, how about they let the half in the bag hillijack onto the track to use his cellphone to take pictures also... happens more and more. You know that guy who yells the winners first name over and over! Usually has a sleeveless shirt on. J/K (didn't mean to offend the sleeveless out there).

I think they should have a winners circle at start finish or right in the infield behind start/finish. I know Oakshade has their victory lane at the end of the straight away next to the grandstand.

You're right about the hilljack, unfortunately most places don't have security any more to prevent that. Still think it should be at the start-finish line.

In the past, I think I would have said right in front of the flag stand. Because that's where it almost always has been. Now, I would have to say the elevated ones, right on the edge of the infield (like Kokomo and Lawrenceburg) would be my preference. They're easier to see, no matter where you're sitting in the stands.

Frontstretch is best. I always enjoy it when dozens of kids come down to get their picture taken with my car in victory lane.
