Sorry, I have to vent a little...

I'm 33 years old and have been around racing my entire life.... In fact, racing has been a part of our family's life for 3 generations...

I want nothing more than the open wheel sport to continue to grow and prosper, to gain new fans and demonstrate the purist form of "Sport" we have today...

That's what most other fans would want, right? Probably the promoters would want this too, you think? I bet the Track owners, would feel pretty good about the business side of things getting better, I would hope so... I am sure the Series' and Sanctioning Bodies would encourage this...

So why is it that the one thing, the most important thing, seems to be the last priority on the list?!?!

I don't care about the $5 hot dog, the $8 Beer....

GIVE ME DIRT!!! In fact, maybe add a little clay to retain some moisture... SO I CAN SEE... but who cares about that... maybe so the DRIVERS can SEE....

Maybe I'm way far out, on the other side of the pitwall... or something... Please correct me if I'm wrong... but the last few years I've been to MORE shows where visibility is an issue - and it's down right scarry STUPID.

And I know that tracks will dry out, I'm not that naive - however, It's amazing when you start seeing a trend...

Prep your tracks, and NOT an hour before hot laps...
