The Midwest TQ Racing League presented by Vincennes University would like to welcome back Tony Stewart Racing as the presenting sponsor of the Rookie of the Year.

In 1989 Tony Stewart began his open wheel racing career in a three-quarter midget and quickly adapted taking his first wins on the county fair circuit at the Rush and Jefferson County Fairs. The MTQRL continues in that grassroots racing approach with races scheduled at the county fairs in Rush County (Rushville), Shelby County (Shelbyville), Jefferson County (Madison), and Hendricks County (Danville).
