Came across some really neat pictures of some of the old-time USAC Sprint Car drivers. McElreath, Vogler, Bigelow, Snider etc. Really neat photos. They are listed under Ebay user name indyhawkus. ...
I would not be surprised if Winchester either turns up closed or sold in the near future the way they run that place. They don't even have the results of this past Sunday's Winchester 400 on the...
Glad to see USAC back at Syracuse. I used to attend the Salt City 100 back in the day as a youngster. Love the dirt miles. Good luck to all drivers today. Wish I could be at Super Dirt week this...
Opening weekend on July 4th. Wow. What a farce. Back in the day, Winchester's season started in Mid-March and ran thru Halloween, sometimes the first weekend in November. Multiple USAC...
You are right Rod. I see Birges from the west coast going to make the trip. I believe the west coast supers weigh as little as 1550. I also think they are allowed more offset to the left compared...
I believe the east coast supers are around 1,800 lbs. Don't know how many ponies they are pushing, I think some of the top teams achieve between 800-900 HP.

Safety for all involved @ each race.
Good attendance so short track promoters can survive & thrive.
Great championship battles at all tracks/series.
As always, we need great weather!!
Midgets...
Great throwback concept of years ago. I remember going to Sandusky for the first 8 or 10 Hy-Miler Nationals and guys like Johnny Logan, Bruce Robey, and Bob Seelman all ran Sprints against the...
Also noticed that the Brickyard week race @ Lucas Oil Raceway went bye-bye too. No Winchester. No Supermodified series. Don't know what is happening here.
Winchester has gone steadily downhill the last few years. Extremely poor management. Sad schedule. Low car counts. Poor crowds for "major" events. I wish someone with racing experience could buy...
I agree. Start parking these cars for a Sunday or two. Then when they do return to competition, possibly with bare quarter panels, maybe they will play by the rules. These sponsors need to step in...
MWR has been cheating since their first race way back when. First race as a team years ago, if I am not mistaken, caught with jet fuel in the fuel system. They have been desperate since day one. ...
