I think most would agree that the amount of time it takes to clear the track at the 'burg needs a little fine tuning. I also think that Dave is aware of this and will find the fix we are all looking for. As for the lateness of the racing, I've left the burg at 10:30 and as late as 1:30. Saturday nite I had no idea what time the sprint feature was over as the races were that good. I've brought 2 new fans to the burg this year and they were amazed at the facility. One liked all three classes and one didn't. Don't matter they became fans and are returning. A big thanks to Dave and staff at the 'burg for all they do.

I do have one question........

During the driver's meeting for the mini-sprints and sprint cars the drivers were told to remain in their cars after a wreck if they could not get them off the track (into the infield). I noticed that many of the midget drivers jumped out of their cars onto the track after wrecks.

In some cases a wrecker was required, but in other cases if the drivers had stayed in their cars they could have been pushed to the infield rather than requiring a wrecker to take them off the track.

Were the midgets given different instructions than the mini-sprints and sprint cars?
