I have what I beleive is a fair question. Going by your past history if it looks like your modified car count will be down will you let late models run with us or open up the tire rule or similar soul selling practices in order to increase car count?

Will this offer hold true for every time I come up? I'm already scheduled to be up there 15 times this race season - I've already made the trip five times this year as it is. Will this offer hold true for my driver as well?

I have what I believe is a valid question, why would you care? Or did you stop running at L'Burg in your MODIFIED. Why would you even post this? You never intended on running with us anyway. But you are as is all modified racers welcome.

Well a pretty bold statement from a "promoter". Shane Mugavin is one class indivdual, you should have the opportunity to meet him,you might broaden your horizons.
As for your series, hmmm we all heard the hoopla, sirens, bells & whistles about it. Now it seems you are "begging" for people to race with your org. Whether they be "Tough as Steel" or aluminum block, your original mission was to keep it affordable for the steel blocks, now you have opened it up to "all". I just don't quite get it,don't get to attend too many races, could you try to explain it to me?

Dan, should we believe any explanation that is given?

In the last 3 years I have ran Lburg 1 time so I don't know what you mean. I had every intention of running the Montpeiler and the union county shows. My motor program is better suited for small tracks. I also have tried ( like hell) to get a sprint ride set up for your series running my modified motors in someone else chassis. Now I am kind of glad I didn't. I then also put a good word in for you at Moler's ( my home track 15 min from my house) because I thought this would give me a better chance at securing a ride. I then stuck my neck out when others complained about them even scheduling a Sprint race and asked people to give you a chance.

But..... You probably knew all this about me but your more than welcome to search my facebook and see all of this. Lastly I answered your VALID question but you failed to answer my fair question. This question is not that absurd as I can gladly show you tracks that are letting our cars run any tire they want and illegal cars because they don't wish to turn anyone away. I wasn't nasty and thought I handled my question just as a Don Moore or someone else concerned about the future of our sport would do.

Ditto above...1285# steel block car, damn, I am further behind than I thought. I have a friend with a USAC legal car, butt kicking motor, that weighs 1340 without the tiny driver. Add a few pounds and that is an even playing field????

Low car count?? Gonna drive 4-6 hours to a race on a, LOW, if non existent budget??? 2-5K to win??? What kind of competion will show up??? The BIG boys, if they are smart.

I apologize to the Modified guy. I had you confused with some one else. But as for your posting I still don't get it. Maybe I took it wrong. But the answer is NO! Look we want everyone to race with us but if you chose not to then that’s up to you. Some on here want us to fail and ya know what, we just might, but at least I/we tried to offer an alternative. As for the weight deal, it is what is. As I stated in the interview we are still looking at all the options to make our series as level of a playing field as possible. We offer an option to the racers and their fans, period. No one else is doing it or even trying to do it in Indiana. Some are threatened by our deal. I’ve gotten the calls and emails and let me tell you Dan you don't know what bold or arrogant is until you've receive the calls and emails that I've gotten. Our purses are good, our plan is well made and we feel that we're ready to get started. Most on here don't know me and have never met me or have never talked to me in person about or series but yet you act as if this is a major attack on you or I should say on your agenda, for whatever reason. No one that is complaining on this site has ever called me with their complaints or to explain their displeasure with me or the series.Yeah Dan and others I can be bold. I can boldly offer this deal to as many racers or fans that are interested. Most of these shows are on my dime and I'm willing to put the money where my mouth is. I have bitched about the current status of our sport for years and I decided do something about it. Ask yourself this, “what have you done to improve the sport?” I'm proud of our team and the hard work we have all done to get this far. To them I say, don't let some on here get you guys down. Your the best and just continue to do the best you can and we'll be fine. So, run or don't run with us it's up to you. I’ll be posting our total purse break downs by each show this weekend. Thank You John Gurley.
