Well, you could all stay at my house. Although, now that I consider it, parking could be a real problem if we're talkin' thousands. Maybe you could carpool over from the fairgrounds. I'll have to clear this with Mrs. FB, of course. :angry-smiley-007:

within 40 miles of the Burg, Florence KY, Tri County Fairfield Oh. There are tons of affordable hotels-motels. Unless theres a huge convention. Also Greensburg Indiana, Harrison Oh.

Chuck, who thinks that argument with Priceline, orbitz ect is a little lame. Theres even free camping at the track and a decent frolic after the races you don't have to drive afterwards

Having stopped at Liberty to check it out Friday I don't see how they could handle an ISW crowd. Stands and track ok but dinky restrooms and I saw one small concession. There may be more than I saw. You would need lots of temporary facilities to handle a large crowd with any kind of efficiency. You could let the guys do some weed killing along the woods to help solve that problem(male restrooms) but the women would be in line forever. Plus, you have basically have a one lane hilly thing a quarter mile long to reach the track so traffic exiting would be real slow. Having a MSCS race there to see how they could handle that crowd would be a good trial run. Those motorhomes could be a pain getting back to the track. It could be done but it would be a real challenge. Not counting the grandstand I'd say they have about 10% of the facilities that the "Burg has.

There are dirt cheap hotels in Hebron KY and near the airport 10 minutes from the track nearly every weekend with priceline or hotwire. These rooms are CHEAP every weekend because the airport/business crowd doesn't do much business then. Also, as Chuck stated . . . if the budget is that tight there is FREE camping at the fairgrounds WITH hookups and showers. Counting the casino I know there is more than 500 hotel rooms in Lawrenceburg alone. Shoudln't be a problem . . .

I agree with the people who've posted something about trying to keep the dates in some sort of geographical order. I even think you could get half of the tracks on their normal nights, like this:

Wed: Lawrenceburg
Thurs: N. Vernon
Fri: Bloomington
Sat: Haubstadt
Sun (Day show): Terre Haute
Mon: Off
Tues: Off
Wed: Paragon/Putnamville
Thurs: Liberty
Fri: Gas City
Sat: Kamp
Sun: Kokomo
I have to agree, I never leave there disappointed!

A day show at Terre Haute with a dry slick track with 90-95 degree temps. and typical high humidity? No thank you.

Yeah...not sure who yet. My buddy Jerry of course, then either Ty or Andrew. Those have been the 3 so far to do so. Thanks guys.

But you can work back up in case one of them drops me.

Agree and that would suck, we all have seen that.

THAT with a twilight show. Remember those?

Group Quals would be early in the day then the track totally reworked for Racing @ 7:00pm.

Besides, I think that the THAT track crew could make and mantain a nice track in the daytime with all the equipment and help they have. It's all about the weather.

Hauling him up is easy. Going back down with bi-focals is the tricky part.
