Sorry but a sale is a sale. You can put anything in the contract but once that property is no longer yours. They can do whatever they want with it. In fact I think the only way to guarantee that is to have the property zoned racing only or something like that with the twp.

Certainly he can take offers from someone wanting it for racing purposes over other offers but everyone has a price and a time to get out.

Lets hope he can both get a good price and a racing interest person to buy it.

I would just like to thank Jiggs, Nona, and Jack for all the years of enjoyment for myself and our family. They took an old dusty overgrown field, and a former track that had a dubious history at best, and built it into one of the finest racetracks anywhere, with some of the best racing every Friday nite anywhere in the country. I for one am very sad with this decision and can only hope whoever takes over can keep this tradition alive. We traveled over 300 miles each weekend for the past 15+ years to see the races and share the close family relationship at the track. IMO Gas City is one of the best tracks in the country.

I hope that Jiggs, Nona, and Jack enjoy their retirement as much as they and we have enjoyed their "labor of love" running the track. Good Luck.
