Posted via Mobile Device Isnt this part of the mystique of sprint car racing ? Contrary to most peoples opinions there is nothing wrong with raising a little hell every now and then ! There have been alot of hell raisers in this sport down through the years and they have made it fun and exciting for everyone ! No one is perfect and everyone at one time or another has done something that didnt involve their best judgment. At least some drivers arent afraid to have a little fun

I am glad everything turned out ok in the end. These people around here (in the bay area) need to lighten up anyway. When I saw all the cops driving in I was thinking that this really bad for sprint car racing at Calistoga. But it sounds like you did a good job talking with them.

By the way, I talked to some people who live in Calistoga and they said you can usually get away with 2 laps before the cops come. So if anyone tries it again, that’s the word on the street; 2 laps only.

Not sure what the whole deal on the trash cans is, but i was not involved in that. Once again my appologies to the track, USAC, fans and fellow drivers. It was a mistake on my part alone, and i have learned from it. The last thing i flew to California to do is hurt the appeal of non-wing racing. Thank you, -Daron Clayton
