Thats really is to bad. All during the Calistoga weekend I was hoping that he would make a good run both for himself and the car owner (G. Crossno). It seems that young Clayton may be in need of some adult supervision. I hope his immature actions did not put this great weekend in jeopardy with the Napa County Fair Board. It would be a shame if his actions led to the cancellation of this race in the future. The board only allowed four races at the historical track this year and are not the greatest supporters of sprint car racing. Hope not because alot of good people helped organize this event for traditional sprint cars. :kookoo

I love his go get it additude but I was also bummed because I am hoping for usac to be able race there again. When I saw the six cop cars come in I thought it could throw a wrench in the deal. Hope it smooths over with the calistoga people because it was truly a great event.

I personally find this story hilarious. Give him a break, he probably got liquored up and figured it was a good idea to go hot lap the rental Mustang. In 10 or 20 years, this will be a funny old racing story.

At least it shows he's got some edge to him, unlike some of the guys who are already practicing their politically correct NASCAR routine.
