I'm down with taking the nerfs and bumps off. Be a rough learning experience for some guys.

I really don't mind guys leaning on each other and I think that you should race through general contact without making much of deal about it. Somebody turning someone or crashing someone on purpose obviously is something else. Often times I'm not sure that there is legitimate contact by the guy going through the hole...or if there is contact because a guy turns the car down on the person passing them when they realize they left too much room open.

I think Jack Hewitt, always handle these situation, in a way they would not occur many times. Even Steve Kinser had to give Sammy a refresher course once in awhile. This political correctness, is taking over! I enjoyed the day, when one did not let their actions write checks, their butts could not cash.

I like the idea of a boxing ring on the front straight. I saw a picture from some track that had a sign up that said something bout fighting in pits barred for a year fined and will be arrested, bring fight to front straight and get a extra 100 bucks.

Back in the early 80s Hartford speedway has a boxing ring that they would roll out on the front straight when two drivers wanted to go at it. Turns out it's illegal to hold a fight like that!
