I just talked to my son who is camping down there. Supposedly they are still going to have Speedfest next year, but most of the people he talked to aren't coming back. a lot of people with anti-Brickyard shirts in reference to moving the Nationwide race.

I thought the attendance was good and the event was a winner $$ wise. It is obvious they have three good size purses to pay. Over 300 laps of racing on a half mile.

It was a very good show. I enjoyed watching Ryan Blaney's run..and the attraction for me was watching Dakota Armstrong and Tom Hessert compete. ARCA and USAC together is a good idea.

The last two ARCA shows I have been to (Toledo Speedway) have been very good shows. 48 cars entered for ARCA.

I was sitting next to Dakota Armstrong's girlfriend's father. I guess he will be running trucks fulltime next year for thor racing as a teammate to Matt Crafton.
