All I know was i saw him at the Newton Center in Lakeville on Wednesday night doing a fund raiser for the owners of Hoosier Tire for the .25 Little Hoosier 100 Race at Newton park Aug 11th & 12th, a race for kids. They were wanting to wrap things up and he said he was in no hurry. and keep answering questions. He was also asked if he would be signing autographs on the June 16th, race and he said he would. Remember he supported Eric Saunders through his motocross career for 13 years, then a year and a half ago the day before his 18th birthday Eric was paralyzed from the chest down. Tony is still there for him. Sure hope nothing like that happens to you haters or someone close to you. http://www.fox28.com/story/18661815/...s-a-little-fun

We were at Eldora for the WoO show few weeks ago. Friday after the race we went down to the pits and there were about 100 people standing around his trailer, he walks out and goes straight to a guy with Downs Syndrome and signs his stuff first and takes a few pics with him and talked to him for a minute or two then he stood and signed autographs for about 30-40 minutes before heading to Talladega that night. Seemed pretty nice to me..

obtw... how can we complain and moan at a guy that gives back to sprint car racing, a sport we love like he does, fielding a USAC car and two WoO cars and buys a historic dirt track in Ohio to keep our sport alive? nuff said

Tony is, as a friend of mine likes to say... a good dude!

Only emotionally weak people get there "feelings" hurt or feel like they've been treated rudely. I say get over it... It's not always about you.

Easy Bill.
People do get their feelings hurt when they are big fans and he turns them away. I know it depends on what mood he is in. Honestly I talk to his Dad a lot when I see him, he is a great guy, but even they don't get along great because Tony gets moody, lol. I leave him alone. Got an autograph when he was in Barker's T.Q. Used to hang out and race slot cars with him when I was a kid, at the cornerstore in Greensburg. Just don't want to get myself upset, so I don't even ask. Kasey Kahne on the other hand, no problems.
