QUICK ! someone tell the 2007 non wing team of the year that the oil filters they use are junk.

No problem, it sure could have been worse- Jake did a heck of a job keeping off the fence. Mom's blonde hair turned grey when the oil on the headers ignited though!:emote20: a couple of beers got it back to normal.

We ran the Florida 400 with a fram filter with no problems and had 100 laps on that filter before the seal blew. I figured I just didn't get it tight enough until someone at the track told Clint about the recall and I read this post. I'd hate to think a $6 filter could have cost us a $40k engine. :crying:
The kid had the fuel shut off before we lost 2 quarts though.
