Thought the racing was awesome.track old school cowboy up.winning the 50/50 didn't hurt either.lol.on to putnamville.bonus day, just got my chili bowl tickets in the mail...

I remember Pickens leading with one or two to go at Burg a few years ago and detonated down the front stretch leaving Daum to win. But im sure that wasn't his first.

It's a honor to see him race up here, he does when he can. I didn't see Quinn on the card last night but he was at Montpelier. He can wind it up from time to time too.

Yes, Gas City was Pickens third USAC National Midget win and his second Indiana Midget Week win.

Previously, Pickens had USAC wins at Angell Park in 2007 and Kokomo in 2011.

Quinn tagged the front stretch wall in the Main at Montpelier and brought out a red; it still looked reasonably straight and they pushed back to the pits but it was dragging the front Panhard bar. Must have had more damage that kept them from getting to Gas City...

Oops, should have double-checked; I knew he spells Jimi with an "I' like Hendrix did.
