Read somewhere someone saying best Gas City race ever, didn't specify the sprint or midget race. Any thoughts?

Both features were very good. The midget feature looked like an outdoor Chilli Bowl (full combat) Rico, Larson, Brady, Tanner all could have won, then here comes Pickens from the other side of the world and wins. If you weren't there you missed an instant classic. Kevin Thomas passed Brady in turn 4 to win the sprinrs, doesn't get any better.

I thought it was a good show. Both features were really good. I compliment them on not running anything but sprints and midgets, and only charging $20. I thought it was a good show.

Great features in both divisions.
Track WAS a bit rough, but it made things interesting. I really am surprised more equipment didn't get torn up.

Was expecting much worse track/facility conditions with things sitting idle. The lack of a working PA system on the front stretch was slightly disappointing.

When did they change the policy on bringing in a beverage? Got stopped at the gate for having an iced tea.

Was this his first USAC win? I thought they said in victory lane last night that it was his 2nd career midget week win. Maybe I misheard.

It has to be at least his second USAC win and maybe his 2nd during Midget Week. I remember him winning at Kokomo before.
