Great move, I wish some of the ISW shows would've started a hour later. With the change in start time I may be able to make it back from Purdue in time to get to the track.

Caught an add on the radio today, sounds like an event (MMA fights, Jackyl concert) going on at the Motorcycle track Saturday Night as well. Hope this don't run Dyno Don off!
Which will be louder, Jackyl or Sprint Cars?

I guess no Parking behind the main grandstand.

I seen Jackyl at Summerfest in Milwaukee a few years ago and oh yeah they bring the chainsaw out. He carved up a ton of wooden folding chairs and it was fun to watch!

I wonder what genius decided to try and have a fight and concert over the top of roaring sprints and modifieds? Should be a real great time for the people there to see and hear a fight and concert. LOL

Shouldn't really have any adverse effects on the racing though. Hee Hee

They had a free concert here in Terre Haute years ago and it was within walking distance. Never heard of them before, don't really care for heavy metal (or what genre they are), but the chain saw solo made up for not caring about the genre of music.

When you are done praying the GAY away, then you can start talking about "the Genre"

Track was looking great at 9:30 a.m. with prep crew hard at work. Spotted Rudy (Dave's Dad) and a co-worker on the track yesterday slaving in the blazing sun looking for stones and they even had a metal detector in hand.

Took my camper over and parked it in a prime spot. Put the awning out. Marked off another spot to park the truck later. Marked off another spot for the cornhole games. Marked off another spot for the grill and picnic table. Put down seat savers over 6 spots for the 3 of us. More seat savers in the row in front of us for our coolers. More seat savers in the row behind us because we like to stand up during racing. Gotta be considerate of folks unlucky enough to pick spots behind us. Of course, that's if we actually make it back from the pits to use those seats.

Beehive of activity at the bike track behind the main grandstand. MMA ring in place as well as a large stage for Jackyl. Many rows of folding chairs and 20 or so port-o-lets lined up and ready for action. 'Burg police cruiser with K-9 trailer in tow already on the grounds (what in the world would they need with that? ). Like my friend Scott Libbert above, I wonder how this is going to avoid being a loser for the fight/heavy metal goers. Shouldn't bother the racing crowd at all unless parking becomes an issue. We shall see what we shall see.
