I would say the term "agony and pain" is how a person with cancer could describe their illness. This is racing, dude. If you have agony and pain at a race, then you're doing something drastically wrong.

no, if we have agony and pain at a track because of the PROMOTERS mistakes then THEY are doing something wrong..... I promised myself after a trip there last year that I wouldn't be back untill 2 things happened, 1 was DA being gone and 2 someone else would step in and PROVE they could run the place better, if this had been under the last promoter then all the people who are praising the new group would be throwing DA under the bus, driving it over him and backing up for another shot.... sorry but you could MAYBE excuse this the first race but it seems they didn't learn much, don't worry, the fans will stay away and you guy who are willing to put up with this will have your choice of seats.....

-Three and a half hours behind - Zero track prep (unless you count dumping an ocean on top of a dried out joke of a surface) ever heard of a grader? - Making $50k+ race cars pack your track .....twice!!!! Packing every joint, thread, and any other surface with MUD! not dirt ...MUD! The $50 gift certificate? OMG LOL - Saying you'll get every piece of equiptment to pack the track... With 5 ..count em 5 push trucks siting in the DRIED OUT PIT AREA .. That had no bleepin lights working - Seroiusly... scraping the mud of the dried out rock hard surface and dumping it into the infield ... lol ...It was entertaing to see stupiety at its finiest!!!!! I could go on and on ...but I'm hungry... the racing eeehhhh well it was the first time in a while I could SEE it so I guess if you're looking for a silver lining... however i did go ...after swearing I wouldn't go ever again MULTIPLE TIMES... So see ya during Sprint Week I guess ... I'm messed up!!!!!!! P.S. RIP Jesse Hockett You will be missed |

I'm a firm believer in constructive criticism, Not bashing. I wouldn't call any bad night at the track barring Injury AGONY, You might be a little Miserable, upset, whatever but nobody's forcing you to either be or stay. You might say its wrong to hold your money hostage with the promises of a show going to take place but ??????
That track is awesome IMHO and I doubt there are a lot of money men willing to take it over, staff it and attempt to promote it. DA was a complete failure on a different level. Id rather have racing at THAT than not, Mike King can take another promotions lesson from this, The prep guys can also. I'll be a sprint week, Hope you are too!

I understand the "constructive criticism" and complaining...after all, this is a message board open to discussion and opinions. However, as a fan who sat through the MSCS race a few weeks ago and another several hours of prep last night, I am not in the least bit angry/upset about what went on. Mr. King got on the PA and apologized (to the point I wanted the speakers to blow) and offered the fans a deal to a later race. NOW, if the next race is the same deal, and there is no discount or refund to us, the fans, I will be disappointed. All I can say is if you are a race fan go and enjoy the comradarie of other race fans and when the track is ready to go enjoy the races...or in last nights case, one of the best races of the year. If you can't handle the possibility of getting home a little past your bedtime, then stay home and watch highlights the next day. I will see you race fans at sprint week. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Memorial day weekend.

ok, let the place go then.. no more racing make it a track of the past that is now a Throw together community of cheap model homes so everyone can whine, piss and moan of how bad they miss it.. seriously?? enjoy the time at the track how long it may be.. because if they were to cancel it because of a rough track conditions then they still get beat up like Stewart does.. OR, pump the brakes on the sh@t talking and be glad its still around..
