Bleachers....As joe said, the sound doesn't get bad. Plus you can see the whole track. The infield is a good economical option, but I know when I am standing in Turns 1 and 2 and something happens behind me, I can't see it due to the raised nature of the infield. OT, but what kind of HD do you have? I like my friends 1200c Sportster, but think my chances of riding it again are hampered after I laid it down last weekend.

Buy a ticket to the grandstand then try all three. Your ticket will get you anywhere except the pits. (if the infield is dry enough, you'll only be separated from the pits by a fence) Then you'll know where to sit during Speedweek.

It's been a really long time since I have been there. I always liked the infield and playing with my Hot Wheels in between the races behind the car my dad was crewing for. Like I said, its been a really long time, not sure what I would do now that I don't have any Hot Wheels.

There is a Toy's R Us behind the track, I'm pretty sure you could pick up some Hot Wheels there.:2: But seriously, when we take the kids to THAT, we do the infield, but if it's just the two of us, the bleachers are the way to go. Since they started pitting in the infield, there is alot of the track that you can't see from the infield. We like to sit at the exit of turn 2. Before the only place you lost sight of them was as they passed the scoring tower area. Now you lose sight of them as they go into turn 4 and you can't see them again until they are entering turn 1. However, it's still a rush to be so close to the track as they are leaving turn 2.

I have always liked the infield because it's a cheap ticket and I get to sit in a comfortable lawn chair. There is a lot of room to roam around and look from different views. It does put you very close to the track and that is cool. I've been lucky and never had too much of a problem with dust at the races I attended at THAT. I think I like turn 3 the best. It is great to see them come down the backstretch like a scalded dog and then set up for the turn. You can really tell who the experienced drivers are by how they enter the turn. The downside of the infield is that you do lose sight of the front straight and you have to stand a lot to turn and watch the action behind you. Anywhere at this place is great, Chuck. I love it, and I'm pretty sure you will too.

Chuck, hoping the weather holds and the speeds are FA.............ST!
Chuck,

If you get the opportunity, sit on the bottom row just below the flag stand for qualifications. Watching them hang it all out for time, flying down the front stretch, is still amazing to me, even as I sit here and just think about it. Watching these guys out of turn 4 with the left front in the air and the right front just dancing ever-so-lightly on the track, and knowing that they weren't going to lift, gives you a real appreciation for the word "courage".
