He brought the sprint car to a couple small track in Michigan a year back,, made no pre announcement,,but after his Friday showing a lot of people found he would be close by on Saturday night.. The place was packed,, he asked for nothing special from the promoter,, park a few trailers down and it looked like all night long he was grinning from ear to ear, just being out running.. Started near the back ran towards the front in the end, and when it was over he loaded up, talked with people a while then headed south.. I truly think he races dirt, like Schrader does,, just because he loves it.

I really hope he shows up to the little 500 for a few reasons:
1. This race takes more than talent and a fast car. Like other big names in the past he will prove that.
2. Put the spot light on 1 of the true Gems in American open wheel racing.
3. I can't wait to see what he will show up with. The race has always had a lot of back yard engineering. What will he bring?
4. When that man wants to win something, he is one of the fiercest competitors. That passion is awesome to see.
5. History- the man has a ton of respect for history. Who is he going to bring along for the ride?
6. Probably won't happen, but I would go nuts if he would run a V6!!!!!!!!!!!! It does not have to be yellow with a 20 on it either.

Fingers crossed, 2017 could be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like he would still like to try Belleville High Banks again to try and win the nationals. 2017 would be the 40th anniversary

Would love to see him again in a V6,,and make it look like it came out of the Chet Fhillip stable.
