People like swaybar always impress me. Not only are the afraid to use there name, but they are even too cowardly to put their age or town. Most of us probably do not know them because they are on their computer more than at the track.

As for Josh, man your luck has to change. Nice run from the tail in your heat race. It was a tough night and a lot of good cars loaded up early.

I agree with everyone but Swaybar. The Spencers are great representatives of the sport. Wouldn't it be great if more of the teams did what they do, both at the track and off the track?

Swaybar, you couldn't be more off target or wrong.

When the Spencers came east for the USAC swing in June and they got rained out at Williams Grove, they still managed to be great ambasadors for USAC and wingless racing in general. They met and talked with Grove fans and gave a lasting impression in the minds of the winged fans that, hey, maybe we should travel west a little bit and go see these guys run because they are professional, courteous and the kind of folks you can't help but root for. The next time I was at Gas City I made it a point to go and meet them personally and buy a T-Shirt and I came away reaffirmed that these folks were indeed the real deal.

The sport needs more teams like the Spencers. They may not be on the podium at the end of each race but they still embody the true spirit of what racing is all about. :Steer

I've only seen them run at the USAC shows at Lawrenceburg but, I was completely impressed with what they did down there. I don't have a dog in this fight. I've never met either of them, however, I think I'm going to go with the "YEA'S" rather than the "NAY'S" on this one. I'm presuming their great people.
