My point is , if no one had asked the surprise would be when one approached the ticket booth? I have NO problem paying more to see almost anything if I know in advance that it will cost me a little more.
As for "Chuck Says" the name is Dirtfan not Dirtball.

:wink...When USAC runs at a local track the going admission is $20 with the exception of Winchester which charges $18. The All Star shows I have gone to around here have had an admission of $20 - $25. The WoO commands $30 or more. At that rate $15 for an MSCS event is a bargain. An MSCS purse is a few thousand more than a regular weekly sprint car purse around here. Where does that money come from if not the fans? Be glad that we can see the quality racing that MSCS provides at such decent prices. A year ago at this time many of us were clamoring for Brownstown to schedule sprint car races. Now that they have many are complaining about it. That's not the way to see our sport grow. We need to support those tracks that are attempting to add themselves to the list of venues that support our style of racing.
