$15.00 at the front gate and another $15.00 if you go into the pits.

Chris, what is the deal with admission? YOUR Brownstown website says $10.00 for a "regular" show. This "AWNUNN" says $15.00 for the front gate another $15.00 for the pits? What the H#**. Sure appears to me that your promoter is gouging the sprint fans. Most other tracks only charge $12.00 for the front and $25.00 for the pits.If this was USAC I might understand, taking advantage of sprint car fans? Looks that way to me.

The AWNUNN is my dad, he is just posting the admission price. This isnt a regular show that we are charging $15 for. The MSCS Purse is Stout, over 10K in the feature alone with $100 in tow money going out to the non transfers. Plus the sanctioning fee. I dunno, i just announce, I am glad i am not a promoter

I have to wonder had someone not ask on this board, although it is not a 'regular" show for Brownstown, would the surprise been at the gate, front or back? Yes I know exactly what the purse is,been around one or two MSCS races before. Will everyone pay the $30.00 to get in the pit gate or just the Sprints? Best comment IMO that you have ever made!Oh well, may not happen anyway, mother nature may take care of it.:headbang

It is the same price for everyone. Same way when the late Models run their special shows. Nobody was complaining about Lawrenceburg having 15 dollar admission for a reg show of 3 classes, (and no this isnt a knock on Lawrenceburg at all). Plus kids 12 and under still get in free with a paid Adult. And it only three more dollars than Bloomington Speedway for a Reg show.

Not that I've got a dog in this fight, but what's the big deal about $15 admission for an MSCS show? That seems to be about standard. The $3,000 to win MSCS shows at Tri-State are $18 admission, the KISS/MSCS show is $15, the Bloomington KISS show is $15.

If I recall correctly, last year's unsanctioned sprint car race at Brownstown was at regular show price (could be wrong; it's been a while). Brownstown raises gate prices when the Lucas Oil Late Models come to town, when the Battle of the Bluegrass comes to town, etc., why is it suddenly 'gouging' when the gate price increases when a sprint sanction comes to town? It's not a 'regular' show; it's an MSCS sprint show.
