Name the last person to win a midget feature at Kalamazoo speedway and then later on race in the Indy 500? I have a $5 bet on this question.

Sarah Fisher, that was my pick. I was at the race. Seem like it was a midweek race.

One more day to go! It looks as though the weather is clearing up and will be a great day for some open wheel racing!

Jerry Landon Klassic:
Windy City Promotions gives back to the Michigan Racing Family affected by today’s storms. WIN 4 FREE PASSES AND A SKY BOX **keep reading for all the info** Race fans many of you heard of the devastation our friends to the north encountered today. Tornado’s ripped through Michigan leaving many of the racing family with damage, without power, and needing our help. This event came together to remember a man with a heart of gold, a giving man, a friend to all. With that being said we are pleased to announce that Windy City Promotions is giving back to help those in need just like Jerry would have . We will be doing a 50 / 50 drawing at the track and will give the tracks portion of the 50 / 50 to the Allegan County American Red Cross to help those effected by the storms. Windy City Promotions will also do a second promotion to give back. When 2000 fans have arrived we will we add $500 for the American Red Cross. Then for every person over 2000 fans Windy City Promotions will donate one dollar per adult to help those affected by today’s storms. Longtime friends Andy Jach and Tony Eldridge have dedicated their time to showing the racing community that they matter and the love for this sport is alive and well and are excited to team up to support the racing family in need. “This is what Windy City Promotions is all about. It is not about making a buck but putting on a quality show and giving back to the racers and racing family who keep short track racing alive” stated Andy Jach South Bend Motor Speedway and the Kalamazoo Speedway have teamed up to thank the racing family for all their support by sponsoring two sky box giveaways. All you need to do is like and share this post on the South Bend Motor Speedway or Kalamazoo Speedway Face Book page when the track reaches 500 shares each track will draw a name and that person will win a 4 person skybox as well as 4 free passes to the Jerry Landon Klassic. “The South Bend Motor Speedway is pleased to be a part of such a historic event. We are honored to give our fans a chance of a lifetime watching this event from a skybox for free” stated Tony Eldridge Operations Manager of the SBMS.
