If the promoters are getting rich, we would have a lot more race tracks.

Not all of them are greedy for one. Not all of them have the name, such as Brownstown to fall back on. Most of the cars running there have on avg at least 3-4 in the pits with them. The Late Model feature pays a 100 to start. That's your entrance fees back. I'm not going to argue this anymore, just stating what I see and know.

I made my first visit to Brownstown last August for what I guess they would consider a "regular" show. The track was good, the folks (track workers and fans we spoke to) were friendly, the car count was huge and the racing was great. I plan on returning.

I have been to Brownstown a few times over the years. Some as a participant, some as a spectator, and some as a car owner. I have only been there as a car owner since Tim Keithly has promoted the track. We have always been treated with the upmost respect. Have there been mistakes made? Yes maybe. Everybody has to race on the same surface. If you think it is bad sitting in the stands when a race track is not perfect, You should be in the pits helping to figure out how to make the car go around. I am just happy to have a place to race that pays a decent purse where I can chase my passion. Like was said previously, If you dislike the place that much then I would just stay home. Myself, I will be there to not only support Brownstown but to also support the memory of Jesse Hockett.
Hope to see a lot of fans there enjoying a great night of racing!
