For Immediate Release - February 10, 2013 - The 5th Annual No Way Out 40 paying $7,500 which got it's start at Twin Cities will be moved to Brownstown Speedway this year on March 30. Before track promoter Mason Fleetwood decided not to renew his contract at Twin Cities, he wanted to make sure his race, the No Way Out 40, remained somewhere. After talks with Tim Keithley at Brownstown Speedway, there was no hesitation. Brownstown Speedway is "The Premier Track In The Midwest", better known to some as a stock car track, but in the past three years has had some of the best sprint shows in history. Fleetwood wanted to ensure this race also remained a tribute race to the late Jesse Hockett, the 2010 race winner, so this year's race will remain paying $7500 to win and $400 to start. This year's total feature purse is over $23,000. Lets see if we can top the 43 car count for this race at the new location! For more information please watch this post for more race details to come and at www.brownstownspeedway.com

2013 - WHO'S NEXT?????

Just keep the push all the water out track packer off the track and let the cars finish packing it. Should be a hell of a show with little dust then.

I'll be there!

It's not the premier dirt track in the Midwest. There was a time when Brownstown was a premier track. 80's and 90's are long gone.

Glad a big sprint show is nearby but i'm sure the ticket cost will be huge because no seats have been added and nothing has really been done to this place in a long time.

Although the track is a bit over the top with some of their claims, I do remember Jesse and Jon Stanbrough going to war for 30 laps there, during one of the shows in 2007. That was a great, great race. Jesse up on the ledge and Jon down around he tires. You didn't know Jon had won until they announced it. It was that close.

Here we go again. If you don't wanna go, don't go. If it was still at Twin Cities I'd bet you complain about that too!

Both my brothers are driving from several states away to race this event this year...say what you want, I'll be there!! It should be a great show...and to pay the drivers, you might have to pay a little more in tickets. Big whoop.

aceace is right the prestige of brownstown is gone. a track that had a ton of hall of fame drivers like russ petro, ray godsey, jim curry and don hobbs has went down hill through the years with failing promotor's and track conditions. i just hope they get the rubber out of the track from the week before's indiana ice breaker lucas oil 10k race. i hope for a great race. wish james essex wa still anouncing there, the best in the buisness...by far

It's not that I don't wanna go, I live nearby so the fuel costs is 10 bucks round trip. You should here what the late model guys say about this place. They feel like the track is being run down. The Late model feature only pays $1000 to win. They charged $35 for the 10K to win icebreaker. Somebody's making a lot of money with no reinvestment. The bathrooms remain ******. Watched a 8 year old fall through the turn 4 (about 20-25 feet) stands one night and he was incredible lucky that he only broke a leg. Suppose to seat 6000 that's over 200k on admissions with a 23K payout? Has nothing to do with paying extra to see a race it's about greedy promoters. Wish this race was somewhere else. Bloomington charges $20 for a 4000 to win with same downward payout of 400 to start. Somebody's gettin rich and it aint the drivers.
