You may be too close to the forest to see the trees. Think about it for a minute.

Consider the state the classes they do or did have their hands in...Gold Crown, Pavement Sprints, Champ Cars, Midgets. As I stated previously, I really do hope it works out for the best. There recent track record isn't promising though. I'm not going to bog down the thread any further with the debate Matt if you want to hash it out further shoot me a pm.

Well lets see. My kids starts out in 1/4 midgets-moves up to 600 mini sprint--then moves to a midget or sprint car. Yes this seems like a bad move on usac's part. Lets get the kids to go stock car racing after 1/4 midgets. Really all they are doing is using the usac name. I think i will start my kid out in go-karts-road racing. That way no one one will ever see my kid race, Know who they are, but will get to some day race in the 500

Does sanction imply that they will have USAC insurance also if so that would be great deal for the 600cc guys. Most of the track insurance is like not having insurance, but I guess in the future we won't need health and accident insurance Uncle Sugar will do it for us. Wonder how he feels about auto racing?

Sanctioning race tracks is a "CASH COW" for NASCAR---NHRA ----and---- AHRA, USAC should look into it.

I rarely post on here and am usually just a creeper, but this constant USAC bashing has gotten so old I had to post something.

I am a 600 owner and driver, and allthough I might not agree 100% with everyhting that USAC does, I think this idea has a ton of potential. We can all argue until we are blue in the face about the pavement sprint cars, Silver Crown Series, or even the midgets. Everyone has an opinion, and it's so easy to blame USAC for all of the world's problems.

Think about this...

USAC didn't mandate 1/2 or more of the fans to get up and leave before or during the Silver Crown race at the 4-Crown. Maybe the Silver Crown Series has ran it's course. Times have changed. I don't see any other individuals or organizations chomping at the bit to take these cars on.

USAC Indiana Sprint Week has a fantastic following of drivers, cars, and fans. I have been to most of the events over the past decade. Standing room only type crowds.

I have watched numerous sprint, midget, and .25 midget events on the USAC live portion of the website. I can't say that I have ever seen a live stream of 600 mini sprint racing anywhere. With USAC's help, this is within the realm of possibilities.

The USAC brand alone will greatly improve the marketing possibilites and increase interest in potential sponsors for the 600 race teams. How can this be bad?

I may be the only one, but I am very excited to see what USAC can bring to the 600 mini sprints...

Is this sanctioning of 600's, by USAC only apply to Plymouth? Or does this open up for support classes at ...say...Bloomington, Putnamville, Kokomo, Gas City, etc.

Honestly, I can't answer this. I guess it would be up to those tracks or any other tracks to contact USAC directly.

Lets all give this a chance. As a new mini sprint family and current QM family USAC has done alot to promote our sport at this level. Pre USAC group did not do much as far as promoting and oppritunites for QM drivers. Over the past 4 years 3 highlights of our experience are Milwaukee Mile, Indianapolis Motor speedway and Eldora. Lets quit speculating on what is going to happen and let the chips fall. GO BUD!!!
