Andrew Elson from California. He ran micro's and kenyon midgets last year. Ran at the Chilibowl this year. Now living north of Indy and planning on running Gas City and Kokomo.

Landon Simon #24 ran 15 races last year in the sprint car with never having driven anything before. Saturday night at N. Vernon was his 17th race ever. Kid survived a point-blank 12 gauge shotgun blast through the chest in May of 2007 (thanks Jesus!); always dreamed of racing sprint cars and is fulfilling that dream!

Never heard that story, but he obviously has one pretty big fan. Without him he wouldn't be here, much less racing. If I get to see him race I'll be rooting for him too. Thanks for all the replies. just the stuff I was hoping to learn! |
