I think what duke is trying to say, here, is "I'm glad they're all happy!"

Obviously, duke was in the Principal's office the day his 2nd grade class studied
word contractions. wow! two contraction errors in one short phrase.
One of the basics of being a "world class smarta$$" is proper mastery of the English language.:wink

Duke was always "World Class" for his profound uncanny ability to find his 7th row starting position every nite in the B Main.

This has went on long enough hasn't it? Time for a moderator lockdown.

Duke will never have anything done to him. D.O. likes him too much. Nuff said.

This is so typical of any thread in which Duke manages to sling a (possibly unprovoked) minor insult at a fellow poster. After said insult is posted, everyone piles on Duke and attacks everything from his grammar to his intelligence to his driving ability, and all hell breaks loose. Frankly, it makes those that pile on look 10 times worse than Duke did for being his brash self. I, for one, would enjoy it if this thread went on for months. It's refreshing to see someone who calls a spade a spade and cuts through the kid-gloves ******** in this day and age, and Duke certainly does that with more skill than anyone here.

As far as calling someone up to debate with them, I'm all for that too. It's the next best thing to doing it face to face and it's light years ahead of typing back and forth on a damned message board. In fact, I had a little disagreement with someone on here awhile back. We talked on the phone and, as far as I am concerned, we're ok now.

And hey, if you don't like some of the things you read here and think the board is headed in a bad direction, stay away from the offending parties' future posts or from the board altogether. Of late, that novel concept has been repeatedly championed by none other than Don Moore, and it seems to work fairly well.

Not all of us are laughing at Duke. A scant few of us are, indeed, laughing right along with him.
