Ray Humphrey has a strong modified motor for sale. It was built by Williams Precision Engines. Steel block, aluminum headed 415 cu. in.

If anyone's interested, PM me your contact info, and I'll put you in touch with him.

Osborn......as in Lee Osborn? You come out of retirement, and I can guarantee at least a few bleacher seat tickets sold to see it.

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking "Osborn" as in Zac Osborn. I believe one of the last times I watched that kid drive was at a "bull ring" called Union County. I watched a 12 car field take the green in the A main and probably seen one of the best races for the lead. It was Zac and Daron Clayton running the fence the whole race wheel to wheel. Great race. The next week I believe someone junkd Osborn's last car and haven't heard from him being on the track since. Could be wrong but I'm thinking its Zac. But it would be pretty cool to see Lee out there too!!

I think the best "governed" series I have ever seen was in Wilmot WI. Which leads me to agree with Donny Gentry, the only difference is they ran a 1 3/4 header, spec RR tire (which I hate) and a weight rule.
I have been saying FOR YEARS we need a series like this since the DEMISE of the MSCS series that Sam started with this same principle in its conception.

Motormasher had you in mind when I made a no spec tire rule. This was made for people like you, so get your car back out and lets race.

Limit the weight....limit the HP.....limit the 1st place $$$ and the racers will show!!!
Have some nice prizes we can accually use at the end of the season and you will have a successfull series.
Look at Paragons weeky turnout.....????

Maybe this had been tried before, and I hate to say it, but I heard it this morning on the Nicecar channel, on Sirius radio. I didn't get in on the beginning, so I don't know what they were promoting, but this is what they are doing. They are "selling", local businesses, tickets, to give out "free", to their customers, so it does a couple of things, if they buy in. It gets the customers in the stores, hopefully to buy goods, and it "frees up", some of the customers greenbacks, to go to the races. Every week or so, they "highlite" one of the local racers, and also give him some fan base. Evidently it's working, because they are getting questions from the business owners, if they are going to do it again this season. Sounds like a no lose for the tracks, competitors, and the business owners. Bob
