All Shows paying $2000 to win & a $2500 point fund for the top 5 guys.
Five nights for the first IL. sprintweek if the tracks have agreed to run these nights is a nice start to hopefully a yearly happening.

I think there could be better dates. That is the same week as Indiana Midget Week, which will certainly draw a lot of drivers and fans to the Hoosier State. I would say the week before (when the USAC Sprint Cars will be in Pennsylvania) or better yet, the week after, would be prime times for those races...

That's when USAC has the sprint cars on their Eastern Swing, but other than those teams heading out there, it would be good to draw the rest of the Indiana guys. It might kind of split guys that would be traveling, but it's better than going against Midget Week, I think.

I didn't realize SummerNationals started so soon. But if the week after Midget Week was available, that would probably be better for everybody. Not sure where USAC would be then, but I'm pretty sure it would not be such a large event that would work against the Illiniois Sprint Week idea...

The week after is always a possibility, but it needs to work for every track involved. It may be impossible to do,but our intention's are to avoid other interest's in the area..Thanx for the input:checkered:

I like the race track itself, but as a fan the sightlines from the grandstand aren't that great. As far as Shepps track goes, if you like sprints at Macon then I guess it would be all right. They have put decent bleachers in, but for my taste its just to small.
