My thoughts are this, a couple of weeks ago I started a thread concerning the admission price for this Saturday. The responses can be found in the thread I started.

As for this one, well here I go,will I be there, damn right. Do I give a chit what someone else charged for a late model or whatever tin top race wherever, I don't think so.MEDIA PEOPLE get in free I have heard, so why would they have a concern:headbang Like someone else said, don't like it, can't afford it, stay your a$$ at home.:shout

Dan, I dont get in free

And if i could be there, I would.

I was comparing admissions to payouts , its not my fault that Late models are more popular and get better payouts

Note the wink after that....

And dont send any hate my way because i didnt do anything to ya

Well like many others here, I will be making the trip regardless of the price. it is not very often you get to see all the great non-wing sprint car drivers race at one of the nicest venues around. I made the trip to the burg for their opening night and I will continue to support this track every chance I get.

I paid $23 for my reserved seats @ Haubstadt. Those seats are similar to all the seats @ The Burg. When the year is over, I'll look back at both and consider each money well spent.

Thanks you Jerry!! BTW, Section A is reserved this weekend, $377.50 for the seat and $49.95 for the backrest.:rolling
Lawrenceburg Speedway: you will pay for the entire seat but you'll only use the edge!!

The amount of money and time these teams put into thier cars, and then they go out there and put thier life at risk. and you are saying that $23 is not worth it. Believe me, I am not getting rich off of anyone. If anything i am going broke. Maybe just maybe we will have a good crowd this weekend and make a dime. But as a promotor you have always got everything working against you.
How many people on this board get a paycheck every week? Try being a promotor and maybe you will get paid this week maybe you won't, you may go 2 months without a paycheck, or you might just have all the stars align and make enough money to get you through a couple weeks. Cecil98 made so much money promoting Lawrenceburg he only did it a few years and retired to his multi-million dollar island home in Florida:rolling. Mel Johnson had the track for umpteen years and now he is retired to being a track prep crew for me. Ask Jiggs how many millions he is retiring on........I would bet the farm its not much.
Bottomline we promotors do this week in and week out for the love of racing, Just like when i raced, I won about everything and still lost thousands of $$$. I raced because i love to race, and now i promote because i love to entertain people.
Some people just take the love out of me from time to time because all of their bitchin. Luckily, the complaments outweigh the complaints.
Thanks for letting me vent.
And to all the great fans, drivers and crews who support the Lawrenceburg Speedway, I SAY THANK YOU!!!
Sincerely, Dave Rudisell
I LOVE YOU MAN! Does this make it dollar beer night?
Just kidding and best of luck, see you there.

Holy ****!!!! Sorry I was only asking a simple question and didn't mean to start a ***** session. I would be there if it was $25. I was just asking if the price was set by MSCS or the track. I really don't care. I love the track and appreciate what Dave has done, and wish the season would continue. Once again Sorry. Bob Bressert PS, I like the Kenny Biro shirt Idea. I'll wear mine for sure.
