I am thinking I need a different graphics cards. I can hear the music on the trial version watch the demo of them racing and go into the chat and everything. After selecting my track and car, then hitting the race button the program shuts down saying it has encountered a problem. I will looking to upgrade and hope to race you soon!


Any help with this problem will be appreciated.

Yes, might need a better card possibly.....
try adjusting your rFactor config (Start/All Programs/rFactor/rfactor Config) turn some settings down. Then while ingame try, under the headings "customize" then under "player" then under "Display", turn some of the settings down in the left hand colum. This may allow the game to play but it will not look as good as it could or should, but at least you may be able to get out on the track.
