An interesting article. There are several mistakes I caught and many liberties taken by the interviewer, but the feeling of the article still gets through. Tony is Tony and I don't think I learned anything new about him. It was about what I expected. What they did not mention is the benevolence of the guy. He is generous almost to a fault.

I was one of the first to join his fan club and am still a member to this day after all these years (thanks to my wife).

Half Fast, thanks for sharing this article.

I often find myself comparing Tony with Bentley Warren, they both have that bad body image you can't help but love, can both wheel a race car with more finesse than anyone else in their class and both of them live very successful lifes - benevolent to the sport that made them successful, to their friends and to total strangers.

I wish Tony continued success with his ownership of Haas CNC Racing, both as a driver and an owner. I wish Zippy was going with him, I consider Greg one of the most successful crew chiefs from the New England Area; continued success Greg.

My biggest wish as a Tony Stewart fan is to see him continue to climb behind the wheel of a race car into his sixties like Bentley has, work his magic on the track not become a car owner only.
