This rule should not be inforced for special events as the fans who traveled the farthest to see the big names in a special race like the Dick Gaines Memorial. Nuthing against Hunter but i would have would've liked to see a closer race rather than having someone dominating that much and having all the big names out with flat tires and such. Also, does anyone have an update on Cloeman Gulick? He took such a hard hit that his down tubes were bent severely. Just my openion but it is gonna b hard for this track to run a weekly sprint show. This track is just too hard on equiptment. If you look at past results of races last year a lot of guys are not running Lawerenceburg any more.

I sort of agree, when they went from red to yellow the teams should have been allowed to add air to the tire that was flat only. No other work. There was some hard hits last night and the reds changed the outcome of the race unfortunatly.

I will disagree. We have red to get to car[s] involved, make sure everyone is ok.yellow push them off and finish the race.Sorry if a favorite needs air or gas or any type of adjustment.IT'S CALLED RACING
You should be in the pits when some of these cars come off the track ,I'm surprised someone hasn't been hurt. Also the 4 wheelers run flat out to get parts. There is so much dust after a race the 3rd or 4th car can't possibley see where they are going. I love this sport and I have my favorites but I don't pout and rant when something happens and they don't finish.I also like them close win or lose. |

Coleman is doing well today. That was a nasty crash for sure. The Car is destroyed and Coleman has some Red in his left eye but that is it. He is back to riding his bike around the shop area today and looking forward to being back next week. We would like to thank the EMT's and Track Officials for their quick response last night. They were great. Thanks for asking... CGR..

If a car can go to the pits and fix the problem I think they should be able to restart the race if they have not restarted or are not coming around for the green restart. The fans are getting robbed, let alone the race teams. There is nothing more exciting than to see someone come from the tail and work their way back to the front. Even napcar allows someone to pit and come back out.

Everytrack in the state as a designated WORK area in the pits for tire changes steering arms and the like. The only one that punishes the drivers and teams for needing to make repairs is the BURG why is that? The place is surrounded by concrete and cuts down tires every week so the work area makes sense dont it? Look saturday night we would have had Stanbrough coming from the back of the pack that would of been entertaining.

Im not gonna beat the horse but I agree, I pay to see the cars on the track. In the case of ten minute reds a car can be pushed off, Tire changed and back on before any motion is allowed. Very dissapointing Ballou, and several others would have made this a much better show and it was until their problems. This is no dissrespect to Hunter, he earned it!
Whats causing the tire cutdowns? My beliefe is low air pressurea and heavy cushion are knocking the bead loose but I don't know for certain. Chuck, who could post links to videos of last to first runs like Hunter at Kokomo, Jon at Kokomo and DD at Bloomington who finished second as Sprintweek. Or even Dickie last weekend at the Burg but that wasn't a restart. That was Dick Sr. like awesomeness. One and a quarter laps. Last to first ![]()

Jim spoke with Dave on this issue on Sunday. The two red flags back to back is what cause Thomas to bike up ( lost tire pressure) and then Bland to hit Thomas and then on to flip. Jim suggested to open red flags to prevent this from happening (loss of tire pressure) esp. when you have two back to back and for as long as they were. |
