If memory serves me correctly about 2012 or 2013 USAC promoted the Silver Crown July Sunday afternoon Silver Crown race The first lap pileup coming out of turn 2 due to dust red flagged the race and it ended up being canceled due to track conditions.

Or they reached out to USAC(or vice versa) and agreed to hold their traditional dates while the promoter issue is resolved.
