The infield tunnel is completely flooded out, there is a good seven feet of water in it. To gain access to the infield, you will have to go from the outside pits across the track. THERE WILL BE NO INFIELD PITS TONIGHT DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF WATER IN THE INFIELD PIT. PITS WILL BE IN THE OLD PIT AREA

So that means once the cars are on the track you can't leave the infield untill the night is over ????

Chris how is the inside of the turns for Picture Taking water or just mud ??

Youre going to get muddy, anywhere you go really. There is a lot of standing water where the photographers usually stand.

You have plenty of time to get here before everything starts, track is still a little soupy, crews are running it in as I type. May not get hot laps directly at 6, but we will work our best to get as close to 6 as possible

I'm the Sports Editor for the Brazil Times, so it is pretty local afterall.

I thought I told you that you were good to go before the first race. I talked with mike long before the first race about your credentials. Wish I was there, but I am getting paid 22 dollars an hour here at work.
