Sure it wasn't "Willie Sutton"? I thought Willie Loman was the character in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman
Guess I should have paid more attention in high school English. Will this be on the test Cecil?:O:

I hope they found out who stole KT Jr's stuff and hang the jerks on Monument Circle. Make an example out of a few people and this crap will stop.

Something I have to let out. I'm not usre if its 100% true but I would say most is. I heard from a friend of mine at Kokomo a lady in the ticket booth gave Kevin a fuel jug and a fuel funnel, when it started to rain and he was drawing his number, to help him out. He took the funnel and jug and as an arogant rich kid kinda smirked like why are you giving me this. He said something about he didn't need it casue they had one but went on his way. My point is this. If your stuff is stolen and you come on a message board asking for help to continue racing and someone helps, even if you have what is being given to you, you should take the item with a great big THANK YOU and not make the person feel like an idiot for helping you out. She didn't know what you had and what you didn't. At least she tried. Take it and see if Bernie or someone would "trade" for something that you needed. I feel bad that your stuff got stolen and am glad some was found. But come on. Acting like a rich punk to that lady was wrong. Now I don't know Kevin but have seen him race several times. I can tell you that I have lost all respect for him because of the little attitude that he let out. What a shame.

Basing ALL of this on something you DO NOT 100% KNOW is the truth. THAT is the shame here. Society is too judgemental of people on things they never saw or hear second or third hand. One of the first times I ever met Dave Darland he had a terrible night and when I tried to talk to him totally blew me off. So... do I assume from this first time he is an a$$????? I hardly think so.

I can tell you firsthand KTJR is a nice kid. Before we interviewed him, during and afterwards... nothing but nice. Class kid too. I can tell you firsthand there are drivers who are jerks. Drivers who people think are nice.

Try getting the whole story verified by multiple parties or seeing for yourself before you judge. That's the way to handle things. Most people on here think I am a jerk. Ask Dwight Clock, Jerry Spencer, Frank Daigh (hope the spelling is right, Frank!), or Lisa (Midgy) if I am. They know first hand.

Yea I was not ripping into you personally. It's just sad to see people judge things like that. I have been guilty of it in the past.... but I have FINALLY learned to wait and see a trend before I judge.

Who's to say he wasn't mad cause of the rain too. Too much going thru these guys minds. Not making excuses....

And thanks for liking the website! We try hard for it to be a good place to go..... that goes for both of them!

...that you're a jerk ? :rolling

It's terrible when you have to post references. I hate it when that happens ! :O:

Boy, I've been asked to provide references for people before, but this one for Don is a first. I'm seldom at a loss for words, but have to think about this one for a while. Sure is tempting, though.
