Dan,
Even Jimmy and Warren have instructed their security people to shoot Bill on sight. :rolling Jerry

Thanks for the post on the five classes at Paducah, the night after a big LM race. That makes the choice for me whether to drive about 35 miles to support a promoter who is really trying at a local track in Jacksonville, or drive over 270 miles to go to what may be a really bad dust bowl to support a promoter who doesn't appear to care much about us fans. Boy, what a tough choice. My weekend just changed to Jacksonville, Haubstand, and perhaps Kokomo.
Again, thanks so much for mentioning that. I really appreciate it. You saved me time, money, and probably lots of irritation. Help like that is what makes this such a good board. Frank Daigh |

those 5 classes are supposed to be all open wheel. SPrints -midgets - mini sprints-mods - crate late models. 4 out of 5 considered open wheel. |

What type of following have the POWRI shows had this year? How many midgets do you think will show Saturday?

I think passing up the Paducah show is a big mistake. I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could (and I'd be driving about 500 miles).
Last years MSCS show that Kruseman won was exciting. That was my first time there and I didn't realize it was banked that much. Only downside was Boespflug getting hurt. Add the POWERi and this should be a great night. They also ran crates that night and that was a good race. I beleve Terry English' son won. |

They have had between 30-40 cars at the few shows mother nature has allowed this year. I know some teams that normally don't run with POWRi were talking about making the trip since it's a 2-race weekend for the midgets. Also, other guys are getting restless after sitting out Knoxville last weekend. If I had to guess, I would say around 38-40 midgets:thumb
