Salute to all the veterans that made it possible. Also, remembering many of the early heros were fighter pilots. How,about a list of current race people that have a military background.
Thank you for your service.
I'll start with Tony Swanson, engine builder and former head of HOSS sprint car series.

I'll be making my annual trip to Applebee's about 5:00! I might also add, I lost an Uncle in WWll, who was on the Juneau, with the 5 Sullivan bros, and a cousin when a helicopter went down in one of the Great Lakes. Bob

There were a LOT of OLD vets at Applebee's last night, I only learned of it about 4 years ago, I read somewhere they started doing it in 07, I can tell you this, they do put out a good meal, and they always treat you well, my wife and I make at least 4 return visits during the year, birthdays and such, so they get us back, but it is a nice gesture, and from this old grump, very much appreciated! Thanks to all who participate, not only Applebee's, but the rest who do their best to thank the Vets! Bob
