After a heat wave the past week in the heartland, we are expecting a cold front for the gold crown. High chance of the r word on Thursday. Decent chance on Friday. Has the track announced plan b?

Thx
Jon

Temps in the upper 40's fri & sat evenings. Not looking real good.

The above quote does nothing to help Kevin and Tammy in promoting this event.

I'll be there. Enjoying the event and staying in a tent. Wouldn't miss it.

As long as it is dry, I can dress appropriately for the lower temps.

I am coming. Cold won't be a problem, I am worried about the other. Sleeping in the van could be chilly, but nothing I haven't done before. I also let my boss know he may not see me until Monday afternoon.

I was more interested in the r word than the cold. We can all dress appropriately for the cold. Nothing we can do about the r word. Espically, if Thursday can not happen because of the r word. Will that day be eliminated, will there be a double header on Saturday afternoon?

Thanks
Jon R

Has absolutely zero to due with PC. Has everything to do with being positive prior to a major event. No need to poo poo it before the green flag drops.

See ya there!!

Temps aren't that big a deal. 15-20 mph wind might be along with the low temps. Hey, it's October. What can ya do?
