Will be attending our first sprint week. Coming over from Springfield Il. area to Gas City and Kokomo for first time. Can you tailgate in parking lot before races? Is July 11th here yet!

There's really not much room to tailgate at gas city but you can go into the pits before the drivers meeting with the purchase of a half pot ticket. Kokomo, on the other hand, is perfect for tailgating!!!

Welcome to Indiana Sprint Week. Hope you enjoy your time in the Hoosier State. There is plenty of room for tailgating at both Gas City and Kokomo. Are you planning to camp out at the track or will you be staying at a hotel? If you are camping out, you will see all types of camping trailors, RV's and campers. Stop by and say hello and you just might meet some fo the greatest fans there are.

July 11th isn't here yet but it is fast approaching. Hope to see you at the races. Enjoy.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

Don't miss the Burg. Races always the best, tailgating space galore. Seating enuf for all. Sunday night, the 13th, only hour and half to Indy.

I cannot wait! Not only is it my first trip to Sprint Week, but it is also my first trip to THAT, Putnamville and Bloomington. Traveling alone, so hoping to bump into some of the IOW's down there to chit chat and pass the time between races. Counting down the days!!!

Be glad to have you here in the Hoosier State. I hope your travels are safe and look forward to meeting you. A ton of campers at the tracks so stop by and say hello. You will find a lot of IOW members tailgating and they are very friendly. Be careful though, you might just get hooked and then you will become a regular follower of sprint week.

I am pretty much planning to get hooked . Meeting up at the camping grounds will probably work great since I plan to go racing gypsy, and sleep in my car. Might just bring a tent too. Havent decided yet. Haven't thought much beyond the racing!
